Fart bombs are another version of a stink bomb. Fart bombs are sealed foil and plastic envelopes and contain bad smelling stuff plus ingredients to start a simple chemical reaction. To trigger the fart bomb you squeeze the little bubble of liquid inside the envelope until it ruptures. The envelope will start to puff up immediately and will explode with a loud pop in about a half a minute and leave a bad smell behind. Dropping the fart bomb in a trash barrel will amplify the sound. Since there is a short time delay with this type of stink bomb, you get a few seconds to make your getaway. You can also use fart bombs as booby traps by placing them strategically where they will be stepped on.
